Function Descriptions • For earphones connecting to the player • For extension cable connecting to the player • For USB cable connecting to PC and recharging the built-in battery. • Press the button to increase volume. • Press the button to reduce volume. • Press the button to forward to the next track. • Press the button to go back to the previous track. • Playback start/pause. • Power on/off (press and hold for 5 sec) • Press the button to change playback mode (LED flashes red when the player is in normal mode and flashes blue when in Random mode) • Recharging: The LED indicator stays on red when recharging. It turns to blue when the batter y is fully charged. When the MP3 player is unplugged from PC or power socket, the player switches off automatically.

2 Operation Instructions 2.1 Insert USB/Earphone cable into the MP3 Player
Step 1: Place the cable in front of the jack.
Step 2: Insert the cable into the jack.
Step 3: Twist the cable clockwise tightly.
Step 4: Make sure there are no gaps (as shown).
2.2 Copying MP3 Files from PC to the MP3 Player
• Use the USB cable to connect the player to a PC USB port. • A ” “icon appears at the right bottom of the Tool Bar. A “Removable Disk” icon also appears in “My Computer”. • Use the File Manager to copy files to the player. • Then double-click the “ “ icon at the right bottom of the Tool Bar to safely disconnect the MP3 connection. When the “This Disk Has Been Disabled Successfully” dialog box appears, disconnect the player from the USB port.

2.3 Recharging the Battery There are two ways to recharge the battery: • Via USB port of your PC: simply connect the player using the USB cable to your PC. • Via the USB charger (optional): simply connect the player to the charger using the USB cable, then connect the charger to a power supply. Note: When disconnected from the USB port after recharging or file uploading, the player switches off automatically.
2.4 Operating in Water (Swimming Mode)
• When using the player in water, you must use the waterproof earphones and screw it tightly into the earphone jack. • Hang the player onto the swimming goggles and place the player behind your head. • Press and hold “ “ for 5~6 seconds to turn the player on (The LED indicator goes on ) and press ► to play music. • Remove all water drops on the player surface after use. • You must plug the waterproof earphones into your ear canal and fix the cable well before going into water, especially you go swimming. Please refer to appendix. Warning: Swimming without plugging the waterproof earphones into ear canal will damage the waterproof earphones.
3 Operating Environments The player works properly in normal environments as well as for swimming / hot spring / sauna / spa /surfing / windsurfing and other water activities.

4 Troubleshooting 4.1 I can’t turn on the MP3 player This can be caused by lack of electricity. Connect to your PC to recharge using the USB cable.
4.2 The player shuts down after it is turned on This can be caused by low battery. Connect to your PC to recharge using the USB cable.
4.3 I can’t charge my player using USB cable • Make sure that you use the provided USB cable. • Use the USB cable to connect the player to your PC and check that the computer recognizes the player. • Make sure the cable is properly inserted (see 2.1). • Reset the player by pushing the pin into the earphone jack. Make sure that the cable is twisted clockwise tightly into the earphone jack!
4.4 There is no sound when the player is on • Make sure the earphones are properly plugged / screwed into the earphone jack. • Only play MP3 or WMA songs. Other formats like MP4, WAV, AVI, WMV and I-Tunes will not work. • If you use the waterproof earphones, make sure to twist it clockwise tightly into the earphone jack. • The volume might be too low. Press Volume Up '+' button to increase the volume.

• Make sure water is not in the earphone jack. You can shake the earphones to remove water from it.
4.5 Abnormality occurs during operation.
• If there is still no sound but the LED is flashing normally, reset the player by pushing the pin into the earphone jack. • If the LED stays on but the player does not work, reset the player as mentioned above. Note: You will not lose the stored files due to the reset.
4.6 I can’t connect my MP3 player to my PC
• Make sure that the player is properly connected to your PC using the USB cable. • Make sure the USB cable is plugged into the player before plugging the cable into your PC’s USB port. A reverse plugging sequence may result in failure of connection between the player and PC.
5 Safety Instructions • Prolonged exposure to loud music may cause hearing damage. Please avoid using extreme volume when using this MP3 Player, especially for an extended period of time. It’s advisable to adjust the volume at moderate volume at all times. • Do not use this MP3 Player while operating a motor vehicle, or in any other instances where failure to hear other sounds may present danger either to yourself or others. • Turn off your MP3 player before boarding any aircraft.

6 Care and Maintenance • Do not put the MP3 player in high temperature, as it may result in explosion. • Prevent the MP3 player from touching sharp objects as this may scratch or damage the player. • Avoid charging the MP3 player in extreme high or low temperatures. • Do not open or mutilate the built-in Li-ion battery, as it will damage the MP3 player. • You must plug the waterproof earphones into your ears and tightly secure the cable well before going into water, especially when you go swimming. Please refer to appendix. Warning: Swimming without plugging the waterproof earphones into ear canals will damage the earphones.

8 Appendix 8.1 Important Notice Please follow the steps below to ensure waterproof protection before swimming: Step 1: Use only waterproof earphones for swimming
Screw the earphone plug into the earphone jack on the player. Make sure that it is plugged tightly into the player. Step 2: Step 3: Make sure that the earphone is twisted clockwise tightly into the earphone jack!
As shown in the following figures, hang the MP3 player onto the goggle band (when swimming). Step 4: Step 5:
You must plug the waterproof earphones into your ear canal and fix the cable well before going into water, especially if you go swimming.

Step 6:
Warning: Swimming without plugging the waterproof earphones into ear canal will damage the waterproof earphones. If the volume of earphones is getting low, make sure there is no water drops stuck on the earphone sound ports. You can swing the earphones or knock it onto a harmless surface to remove the water drops.
8.2 General Applications Both waterproof earphones and normal earphones are suitable for general applications. You may put the MP3 player in your bag or pocket and enjoy music using either the normal earphones or waterproof earphones, with or without the extension cable.

8.3 Resetting the player
• Reset the player by pushing the pin into the earphone jack.
8.4 Recharging/Uploading MP3 player
Connect the USB Cable to the MP3 Player as shown. Make sure that the cable is twisted clockwise tightly into the earphone jack!
